Power adapters differ in a set of functions and characteristics. Depending on the type of adapters can:
- it can be used to combine several phases with one or several SS (for example, 2 phases with two SS or three phases with one SS) to provide power supply to the load with one power supply input;
- RF associations for building a PLC network;
- for uninterrupted power supply of external devices from rechargeable batteries;
- limitations of pulse overvoltages at the power supply inputs to acceptable levels.
